2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 498A, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per prosecution case, marriage of informant was solemnized with this petitioner in the year 2023. Thereafter, it is alleged that informant was subjected to torture and cruelty due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier, vide order dated 03.02.2026, the case was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Patna High Court, Patna,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5219 of 2026(3) dt.21-04-2026 2/2 and dispute between the parties has been resolved with terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by the parties, annexed as Flag-M. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 does not dispute the contention made on behalf of the petitioner.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this anticipatory bail application is allowed.
7. Let the above-named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Araria in connection with Araria Mahila P. S. Case No. 44 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
