The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 467, 420 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is a case of recovery of about 1800 liters of liquor from a truck.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the name of the petitioner has figured on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused and petitioner has

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Court Excise, Patna in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 473 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
