Petitioner seeks bail in Dhankund P.S. Case No.74 of 2019 registered under Sections 307, 323, 379, 341, 504, 506 and 34 of the IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by order dated 19.09.2019. The petitioner is in custody since 04.07.2019. The petitioner has already remained in jail for eleven months. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant other family members. Out of six injured, only daughter of the informant got grievous injury. The other persons got simple injuries.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3647 of 2020(2) dt.05-06-2020 2/2 Learned A.P.P. and learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

It appears that of course there is allegation against the petitioner that there was a panchayati and the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant and his family members with iron rod and injured six persons, out of whom, only daughter of the informant got grievous injury and for that the petitioner has already remained in jail for eleven months. Having considered the facts aforesaid, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge I, Banka in connection with S.T. No. 420 of 2019 arising out of Dhankund P.S. Case No.74 of 2019. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Harish/- U T
