Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, 28 liters of foreign liquor was recovered form trolley bag of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 07.12.2021. Considering the above mentioned facts and

No.5144 of 2022(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Excise Judge I, Khagaria in connection with Mansi P.S. Case no. 320 of 2021.

Petitioner shall furnish bail bond after framing of the charge. The trial court is directed to take every endeavour that the charges be framed within a period of two months. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
