JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-04-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that the petitioner cheated Rs.4.41 lacs from the informant on the pretext of providing Government job to his son.

Learned counsel for the petitioner denies the allegation and submits that offering bribe to someone for getting Government job is itself an offence. It is unlawful and prohibited under law. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and clean antecedent of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.
