2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bihpur P. S. Case No. 161 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The informant suspects that because of land dispute, which is going on between the parties for the last several years, all the F.I.R. named accused persons killed her husband.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during investigation in confessional statement of co-accused Ranjit Mandal. Petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner has got three criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and criminal antecedents, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.

7. However, since petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
