The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 100/2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 498(A), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the brother of the husband of the informant and has been made accused only because of his relationship with him.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the husband of the informant is in custody. The marriage had taken place 9 years ago and it is not
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15380 of 2021(2) dt.06-01-2022 2/2 expected, it has been argued that the petitioner, who stays separately from his brother and his wife would interfere in the life of the informant and her family.
Considering the general nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate -1st Class, Patna, in connection with Mahila P.S.
