The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Agiaon (G) P.S. Case No. 150 of 2020 dated 02.11.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 452, 354B, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Though the allegation against the petitioner is of having attempted to outrage the modesty of the informant who was sleeping on her roof, but the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is a reason for such false implication.

The F.I.R. has been lodged after a delay of 18 days. The petitioner had made protest against the ineffective execution of the Nal Jal Scheme by the husband of the informant, which has led to the present prosecution.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14625 of 2021(2) dt.04-01-2022 2/2 The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. It has further been submitted that for specific purpose of silencing the petitioner, the aforesaid case has been lodged by the informant.

Regard being had to the nature of the accusation and the background of facts, the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Agiaon (G) P.S. Case No. 150 of 2020, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The application stands allowed.
