The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019 dated 13.10.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 353, 224, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

He has been named in the FIR with the accusation of clashing with the police when an attempt was made to arrest his brother Ambuj Thakur in Lauriya P.S. Case No. 119 of 2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there may have been some opposition at the time of arrest but the petitioner has been made

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14584 of 2021(2) dt.03-01-2022 2/2 accused in this case because he is the brother of the arrestee.

The brother of the petitioner is languishing in custody ever since his arrest.

Considering the general nature of accusation and the background facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st West Champaran in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
