The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted his wife due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The petitioner is in custody since 27.03.2015. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than three and half months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 45/2014.
