JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-02-2020 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to make payment of admitted outstand dues amounting to a sum of Rs. 40. 47 lacs approximately, pertaining to work order No.1 dated 13.01.2014 with respect to Hariyali Mission.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be approaching the Principal Chief

Patna High Court CWJC No.3431 of 2020(2) dt.27-02-2020 2/3 Conservator of Forest, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, however, he be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within stipulated time frame and make payment of the admitted outstanding dues. The learned counsel for the respondents does not have any objection.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no.3 i.e. Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, by filing appropriate representation for payment of the admitted outstanding dues, as aforesaid, within a period of four weeks from today, whereafter the respondent no.3 shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks thereafter and in case any admitted outstanding dues are found payable, the same shall also be paid within a period of eight weeks therefrom.

It is needless to state that in case the aforesaid time limit is not adhered to, the admitted outstanding dues found payable, if any, would carry interest @ 9% per annum from the

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
