The petitioner's grievance is that though the jamabanndi is running in the name of the petitioner, in respect of the land, having description; Khata No. 202, Plot No. 1047, situate in Village Baraharakh in the District of East Champaran, he is not being issued rent receipts, though he is ready to pay the land revenue for the same.

The petitioner has a remedy under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015 (in short 'the Act'), to make an application before the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, which he has apparently not done.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3484 of 2019(2) dt.22-02-2019 2/2 This application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer by making an application for redressal of his grievance. If he does so, the Court expects the concerned authority to dispose of the petitioner's claim, in accordance with law, within the time stipulated under the Act.
