JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-04-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 498(A), 406, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is of torturing the complainant for demand of dowry. It appears that on the complaint petition, the F.I.R. has been lodged. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the allegation is general in nature and the petitioner is still ready to keep her, but as he resides away from the parental home and he had a son also and father of the informant wanted her to settle at her "Naihar" and due to which present case has been lodged, which will appear from the impugned order. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Ara, in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2018, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
