This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Bishambharpur P.S. Case No. 202 of 2022 registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 311.040 litre of Indian made foreign liquor kept in two plastic bad and also the petitioner is in custody since 20.12.2022.
Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9233 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 bail.
Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.
Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District and Sessions Judge-IV- cum Exclusive Spl. Excise Court II, Gopalganj in connection with Bishambharpur P.S. Case No. 202 of 2022.
The petitioner will visit Bishambharpur police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner., (Sandeep Kumar, J) Sunnykr/- U T
