2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case in connection with RC 02320 14A 0024 of 2014 dated 30.11.2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of Prevention and Corruption Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have been appointed to the post of Gramin Dak Sewak on the basis of forged and fabricated documents.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is a lady and she has been terminated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5047 of 2025(2) dt.04-04-2025 2/2 from her service as per para-11 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that the charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated at para 3 of the bail petition.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Muzaffarpur in connection with RC 02320 14A 0024 of 2014, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

7. The application stands allowed.
