The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is languishing in custody since 19.03.2014 in a complaint case in which processes have been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. Considering the nature of accusation and

No.25669 of 2014 (06) dt.09-01-2015 2/2 the period under custody let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, East, Muzaffarpur in connection with Complaint Case No. 1207 of 2012, Trial No. 1963 of 2014.
