The petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2013 in connection with Special Case No. 10 of 2014 arising out of Didarganj P.S. Case No. 179 of 2013 for the offence registered under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (iii) (x) (xi) of the SC/ST Act and Section 8 of the Prevention of Children Sexual Offences Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial of the present case has commenced and many of the witnesses have already been examined but as on date, three witnesses have been left to be examined.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11595 of 2015 (2) dt.26-05-2015 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected. However, the Trial Court is directed to take all possible steps and proceed with the trial so that it may be reached to its logical conclusion within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a certified copy of the present order.
