The petitioner is in custody since 16.02.2015 in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 21 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a dispute between the parties regarding raising of boundary wall which resulted into some altercation between the parties and the petitioner' side has lodged a case bearing Riga P.S. Case No. 24 of 2014. It is submitted that both parties have sustained injuries and there is dispute with regard to Khatiyani land of family of the petitioner and the present prosecution party. Case No. 21 of 2014.
