In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Baniapur P.S. Case No. 215 of 2012 registered for offence punishable under sections 406, 419, 420, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
An FIR has been lodged by the Block Development Officer, Baniapur to have illegally withdrawn the money connected with the Indira Awash and the money was taken forcibly by the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not the same Pappu Singh, there may be numerous Pappu Singh.
The petitioner has criminal history.
