This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with K.Hat PS Case No. 695 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 414, 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A)(G) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act 2016 and Sections 28(b)(ii)(d) and 28 of Cosmetic Act, 1940.

Learned counsel representing the petitioner referring to the prosecution case would submit that petitioner was arrested in the instant case in connection with seizure of cough syrup which is allegedly used as alternative of liquor. Petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2018.

Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Purnea in connection with K.Hat PS Case No. 695 of 2018.
