The petitioner seeks bail in a criminal prosecution registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3 (2) (v) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is alleged to be the killer of the deceased and he being the main person responsible for death of the deceased, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer for bail made on behalf of the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Karaiparsurai P.S.Case No. 42 of 2014 pending in the court of Ist Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nalanda at Biharsharif is rejected.
It is submitted that the case has been committed to the court of session and the trial is going on. Hence, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at an early date preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. However, if
