The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, informant along with other staffs of Electric Supply Division, Paraiya reached the house of petitioner to check the electricity connection, which is in the name of Ramdas Paswan and demanded arrears of electricity bill, this petitioner abused and manhandled the informant and other officers.

It is submitted that the entire dues amount has been paid and the connection was in the name of grandfather of the petitioner. Moreover, on the date of occurrence, the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5255 of 2023(2) dt.09-05-2023 2/2 was not present in village and had gone to Varanasi for appearing in Railway Recruitment Board Examination and admit card of the petitioner is on the record. Petitioners claim clean antecedents.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gaya in connection with Paraiya P.S. Case No. 339 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
