2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Buxar Town P.S. Case No. 535 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Section 127(2), 308(5), 308(4), 115(2), 109(2), 303(2), 351, 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that informant was assaulted by the petitioner and others and was abused. It is further alleged that the petitioner pointed pistol on informant and also snatched golden chain of the informant and threatened that he can only work after giving rangdaari to him.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that informant is a contractor and he has performed poor work. The petitioner is a whistle blower
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4782 of 2026(2) dt.04-02-2026 2/2 who raised his voice in corruption work which has annoyed the informant and due to this grudge this case has been filed. It has further been submitted that there is only allegation of assault and that too is general and omnibus. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that injury which has been received by the informant is of simple nature. Learned counsel for the petitioner has lastly submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 03.10.2025.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Buxar in connection with Buxar Town P.S. Case No. 535 of 2025.
