The petitioner is an accused in Nathnagar P.S.Case No.71/16 registered under Sections 363, 368, 376, 370 (A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 5 and 6 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant had disclosed that when she was taken by Puja at her rented house the petitioner was present there from before she has not stated about any overt act or ill behavior by the petitioner with her. He further submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 27.2.2016.
