The petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2015 in connection with S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 359 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he is not named in the F.I.R. yet he has been implicated in this case on the basis of confessional statement of one co-accused Deepak Kumar who was an accused in S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 394 of 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that on the basis of the said confessional statement made by Deepak Kumar, he was

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12975 of 2015 (3) dt.28-05-2015 remanded in connection with the said case i.e. S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 394 of 2014. He has already been granted bail vide Annexure-2. Considering the aforementioned submissions and also the fact that the said Deepak Kumar has also been granted bail by the court of A.D.J. XIV, Patna in B.P. No. 319 of 2015, let the petitioner Pankaj Kumar be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Patna, in connection with S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 359 of 2014.
