This application has been filed seeking a direction for

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.806 of 2017(2) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 grant of protection to the petitioner.

Counter affidavit was filed way back on 28.07.2017 after due service upon petitioner's counsel. In paragraph 11 of the counter affidavit filed by the Additional Superintendent of Police, Barh, there is specific averment that in the District Level Security Committee, petitioner's application for protection has been considered and proper direction has been given to keep strict vigil on the situation to avoid any untoward incident. There is specific assertion that strict vigil is being kept from the level of Police Station for protection of life and property of the petitioner by the Police Patrolling Party. The averments made in the counter affidavit have neither been denied nor disputed by filing any rejoinder.

In view of the fact that the District Level Security Committee has taken the steps, no further direction is required to be given in the instant application.

This application is dismissed.
