Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 316 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner along with others has killed the deceased. The evidence has come about the participation of the petitioner in the murder of the deceased. Petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2021.

Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5198 of 2022(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is dismissed.

The Court below is directed to expedite the trial within a year. If there is no substantial progress in a year, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
