The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 304B and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act .

It is a case of dowry death. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons and no specific overt act has been alleged against the petitioner who happens to be mother-in-law of the deceased and lives separately and husband of the deceased is already in custody. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Sonepur Police Station Case No. 242 of 2021.
