This application has been filed for a direction upon the respondent authority to pay the full and final GPF with up to date statutory interest along with the penal interest for the extra ordinary delay in paying the GPF amount, which has not been paid since petitioner's retirement on 30.11.2007.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ application, a counter affidavit has been filed by respondent No. 5, along with a calculation chart appended to show that the amount of GPF has already been paid to the petitioner. However, according to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CWJC No.1671 of 2025(2) dt.12-09-2025 2/2 the deductions made for the years 1973-1998, 2001-02, 200203, 2005-06, and 2006-07 have not been accounted for in the said chart showing payment of the GPF amount.

All the details of the amount which is said to have been deducted against the Provident Fund at different places where the petitioner was posted shall be submitted within four weeks from today, along with the representation giving such details, before the respondent No. 4/ District Programme Officer (Establishment), Kishanganj. The District Programme Officer (Establishment), Kishanganj, is directed to take all steps and endeavour to collect the details of the deductions made at the different places as shown in the representation and to provide the necessary information to the District Provident Fund Officer, Kishanganj, so that further steps towards payment may be taken by him without any inordinate delay, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of such representation.

5. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
