2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 259/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363/366A/323/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 4/12 of the POCSO Act has been added.

3. From the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 161 of the Cr. P.C., it appears that the victim had eloped with one Ravikant Kumar. He is said to have participated in the crime along with Ravikant Kumar who has been granted bail after having been declared juvenile.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 06.12.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Considering the period of custody and also the fact

No.7715 of 2024(3) dt.16-04-2024 2/2 that the petitioner has clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-Exclusive POCSO Court, Supaul/ concerned court in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 259/2023.
