Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The present case was lodged against unknown but the name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co- accused and taking note of the aforesaid confessional statement as well as some criminal antecedent, learned Addl. Sessions Judge II, Saran at Chapra rejected the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 3.12.2015 and except the aforesaid material, there is nothing against the petitioner. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl.
