1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Rampur Chauram P.S. Case no. 61 of 2022 registered under sections 307, 341, 323 and 354B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that the petitioner who happens to be her devar made an attempt to outrage her modesty and thereafter assaulted her with an iron rod causing serious injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of family dispute as he happens to be the devar of the informant which would be evident from the contents of the FIR itself. The alleged injuries have not been found to be grievous in nature

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6728 of 2024(3) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 and the opinion has been reserved. The petitioner is in custody since 5.9.2023 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, the relationship between the parties, the petitioner being in custody for 7 months since 5.9.2023, not having any criminal antecedent and charge-sheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Rampur Chauram P.S. Case no. 61 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal.
