2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021, registered on 05.08.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 337, 338, 307, 332, 333, 353, 427, 435, 504, 283 & 188 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 / 4 of the Prevention of Damage of Public Property Act, 1984.
3. As per the prosecution, F.I.R. has been lodged against 76 named and 300-400 unknown accused persons, alleging that they collectively started pelting stones and caused damage to police vehicles. It is further alleged that the accused

4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature, with no specific allegation levelled against the present petitioner. Counsel further submits that the petitioner's name has come in this case during the course of investigation. Counsel further submits that other similarly situated persons have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court vide orders dated 11.08.2023 10.05.2024, and 15.05.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. Nos. 48481 of 2023, 22971 of 2024, and 27871 of 2024, respectively. Counsel also submits that two criminal cases are pending against the petitioner, however, one pertains to the present incident, while the other is an old case.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the criminal antecedents of the petitioner is not clean there are two criminal cases pending against him.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of 4 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the
