Patna High Court CWJC No.7924 of 2017(4) dt.16-04-2025 2/3 petitioner no. 1 (Saraswati Devi), petitioner no. 4 (Kaushalya Devi) and petitioner no. 7 (Indra Prasad) are no more and as such, the matter against them stands dropped.
2. Heard the parties.
3. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to give suitable employment in Railway to the heirs/dependents of the petitioners according to the scheme of the Railways in lieu of acquisition of their lands at Khagaul (Danapur)."
4. The claim in the writ petition is that the Indian Railways were duty bound to provide job as the petitioners' land has been taken by the Indian Railways.
5. Annexure-2 of the said writ petition shows that pursuant to the last writ petition filed by the petitioners in CWJC No. 9718 of 2014, the General Manager, East Central Central Railways took up the matter and negated their claim on 30.12.2015 communicated by the Office of
Patna High Court CWJC No.7924 of 2017(4) dt.16-04-2025 3/3 the East Central Railway on 05.01.2016. The said order having not been challenged, attained finality.
6. In that background, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.
