2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Begusarai Complaint Case No. 1690(C) of 2021 for the offence under sections 498A, 323, 341, 451, 494 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the complaint, the lady got married to the petitioner in the year 2005 and with the passage of time, the couple was blessed with three children. As per the information, the eldest child is in class ninth. The allegation is that the petitioner moved to Assam in the year 2017 and later made

When this came to notice on objection, she was deprived of food and other amenities, a Panchayat took place but it failed to cut any ice and ultimately, she has been forced to live with her old parents along with three children without any support from her husband. This led to the complaint.

4. Earlier, this Court gave long rope to the petitioner, the matter went for mediation but as per the mediator's report dated 26.03.2026, it failed.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he do not have any relationship with Pinki Mahto and would like to live with his wife.

Mr. Bharat Bhushan, who is representing the State on the other hand submits that for nine years the petitioner has left his wife and the three children, they are living in pitiable condition, the eldest child has reached ninth class without any economic support and the plight of the family can be simply judged from the aforesaid facts.

7. Having heard the submission of the parties as also the materials on record, though this Court wanted an amicable settlement, the attitude of the petitioner in firstly forcing the wife along with children outside his home and later not coming

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7185 of 2026(5) dt.31-07-2026 3/3 to terms, have denied any economic assistance to the family and allegation is that he is having family life with Pinki Mahto, in that background, no relief can be extended.

8. The Anticipatory Bail application stands rejected. The interim protection granted earlier stands vacated. (Rajiv Roy, J) ankita/- U T
