2. The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the Joint Secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, Bihar, Patna to pay his arrear salary for the period between March, 2011 to June, 2012, the arrears monetary benefits upon grant of Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- with effect from 01.01.2006 as well as the monetary benefits upon grant of 2nd MACP (Grade Pay 4800/-) with effect from 01.07.2009 and to pay the interest at market rate.

3. It appears that the petitioner has filed representation before the Joint Secretary, Panchayat Raj

Patna High Court CWJC No.2251 of 2019 dt.13-02-2019 2/2 Department, Bihar, Patna on 18.04.2018 which has yet not been responded to.

4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct that a fresh representation be made by the petitioner to the Joint Secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, Bihar, Patna (respondent no.

2) within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the same shall be disposed of by the Joint Secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, Bihar, Patna by a reasoned order, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed off.
