Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code as well as various sections of the Arms Act.

One country made loaded Katta is said to have been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner when he along with others assembled to make preparation for committing dacoity and for the aforesaid act, petitioner is in jail custody since 30.1.2016. Furthermore, I find that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and investigation against him has already been completed. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Bettiah Town P.S.
