2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the Respondents to grant, calculate and release the compensation amount of the land whose details are given below, of village Kakorwa Block Araria in the district of (now) Araria (earlier district of Purnia) which was
Patna High Court CWJC No.7881 of 2017(3) dt.16-04-2025 2/2 acquired by the Govt. of Bihar way back in the year 1988 for the purpose of construction of Bundh (Embankment) for protection from flood of river Panar and/or for any other further relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is found fit and entitled."
3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be filing an appropriate petition before the respondent no. 7, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Araria in next four weeks for the redressal of his grievance.
4. If the said application is filed in the aforesaid period, the concerned respondent is required to look into the matter and if needed to call for records from the erstwhile district and pass an appropriate order preferably within a period of one year.
