2. The present application has been preferred: for direction to the concerned authority to initiate proceeding for fixation of rents to the lands of the petitioner and his family and after following due procedure the rent may be fixed under the Bihar Land Reform Act.

3. It is unfortunate that for a simple prayer, the petitioner knocked the doors of this Court and on query, though there is no counter affidavit, it has been informed that in all likelihood, the same has not been disposed of.

5. The writ petition is disposed of allowing the respondent, the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Aurangabad to take up the matter, notice, hear and dispose of the present case, if still not disposed of by 31st January, 2026 to avoid contempt. (Rajiv Roy, J) Vijay Singh/- U
