Opposite Party/s ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-04-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, being the husband of the informant, is languishing in jail since 01.03.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The prosecution case, in short, is that the marriage of the informant was performed in the year 2011. Thereafter, the petitioner started to make demand of motorcycle, LCD, T.V. 8 Bhar gold, etc.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no any demand of dowry by the petitioner or any one of his family members, rather the informant has herself left the matrimonial home because the petitioner used to become ill. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17697 of 2016 (2) dt.25-04-2016 petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Arwal in connection with Mehandia P.S. Case No.17 of 2012.
