The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bisfi (Patauna) P.S. case No. 129 of 2018 registered under Section 307 and other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant got information that villagers were assaulting a person on the allegation of theft of a child. When the informant went along with police officials to rescue the man the villagers surrounded the police force and assaulted the police personnel.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that entire villagers were named in the FIR. No specific allegation is made against the petitioner. Nobody got any injury. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above
