The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Chapra (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.446 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30, 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the recovery of 80 liters of country-made wine from an open field from where Bablu Rai, Ravi Kumar and Satyendra Rai were arrested and three others managed to escape and the arrested accused persons disclosed the name of the petitioners as the persons involved in preparing the illegal wine, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. Their application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
