The petitioner is in custody in a case registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case, in brief, as per written report of informant Rabindra Kumar Sharma is that his father is a retired Clerk of Middle School, Brindavan (Galimpur). On 1.4.2015, telephonic calls were made from three different mobile numbers demanding extortion (Rangdari) amount of Rs.2,00,000/-. When his father asked about the identity of the caller, he was abused and asked to pay the said amount at Jamalpur Railway Platform No.2, otherwise he would be done to death and then his son would also be killed.

No.26511 of 2015 (2) dt.27-07-2015 2/2 On behalf of the petitioner, it is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.4.2015 and charge sheet has been submitted in the case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in the present case due to mistake of fact. The allegations made in the F.I.R. are denied. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. His name has come in course of investigation.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Munger, in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No.74 of 2015.
