The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the I.P.C. and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Liquor was recovered from the orchard and suspicion is that the same was of the petitioner. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedents. Petitioner is in custody since 04.11.2020. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present. Hence, prayer for bail is refused in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 160 of 2020 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum Special Judge, Excise Act,

If the trial would not conclude within six months, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer before the court below itself.
