03-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sono P.S. Case No. 268 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per F.I.R., 648 liters of foreign liquor is said to have recovered from a pick-up van and petitioner is owner of the vehicle.

In view of specific allegation of recovery of aforesaid illicit liquor from the pick-up van of the petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of bail.
