AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: Learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel representing the State and learned counsel for the Accountant General are present. Learned counsel for the parties are unanimous in their approach for settlement of the dispute and submits that the authorities concerned of the State shall examine the genuineness of the claim of the petitioner and if found genuine and payable, the same shall be paid within a period of three months from today. Submission of learned counsel for the State and the petitioner is that the matter may be disposed of accordingly.

The Writ Application (CWJC No. 8938/2017) is being disposed of in terms of the understanding as recorded above. The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
