Petitioner is in custody connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 284 of 2019-2020 corresponding to Excise Act Case No. 1217 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and in the instant case there is recovery of 148.50 liters of liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 30.11.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5136 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2nd, Madhepura cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhepura, in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 284 of 2019-2020 corresponding to Excise Act Case No. 1217 of 2019. However, the court below is directed to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner if in future, the petitioner is involved in similar such matters.
