2. The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) To direct the respondent no. 2 to disposed of the Misc. Case No. 296 of 2014 expeditiously which is filed by the petitioner against the order dated 23.6.14 passed in Land Dispute Case No. 61/2013 by learned Deputy Birpur. Collector Land Reforms, Birpur.

(ii) To direct the respondent no. 3 to disposed of representation filed by the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8955 of 2017(2) dt.21-04-2025 2/3 (iii) To quash the order dated 20.01.2017 passed by Learned Collector, Supaul Additional whereby and whereunder the appeal filed by the petitioner has been rejected due to pendency of Misc. Case No.

296/14 pending before commissioner, Koshi Division, Saharsa.

(iv) To quash the order dated 3.05.2017 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer-Cum-Sub-Divisional grievances redressal Birpur Sub-Division Public officer, district Supaul whereby and whereunder the proceeding has been dropped and petitioner has been directed take shelter of competent court.

(v) To direct the respondents provide adequate safety to and security to the life and property of the petitioner. at the hands of private respondent and his companion anti social elements.

(vi) To grant any other reliefreliefs for which the petitioner entitled under the is facts and circumstances of the instant writ application.

(vii) To direct the respondent to take measure action so that the land of the petitioner may be released from the clutch of the private respondent.

3. Learned State Counsel admits that the Misc. Case

Patna High Court CWJC No.8955 of 2017(2) dt.21-04-2025 3/3 No. 296 of 2014 is pending before the respondent no. 2, the Commissioner, Koshi Division, Saharsa.

4. It is unfortunate that such a Misc. Case filed in the year 2014 has still not been disposed of.

5. The respondent no. 2 is directed to dispose it of within a period of four weeks if the same has still not been disposed of.

6. Mr. Dhurjati Kumar Prasad, learned G.P. 14 submits that he shall be informing the office of the Commissioner today itself.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
