2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 385, 354 and 354D of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that this petitioner demanded Rangdari and threatened informant to withdraw Koilwar P.S. Case No. 566 of 2022 which was earlier lodged by him against this petitioner.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case only with a view to harass and humiliate the petitioner.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has

No.4761 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 2/2 vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and there is specific accusation that he demanded Rangdari and threatened the informant to withdraw the case earlier lodged by him. It is further submitted that petitioner has also got one criminal antecedent of similar nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, specific and direct nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
