2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with CBI/EOW/Ranchi P.S. Case No. RC0932015A 0004 dated 19.08.2015 instituted under Sections 23 (2)r/w/13(i)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with the then Branch Manger of the Bank concerned had got many loans under the Kisan Credit Card scheme sanctioned based on forged and fabricated documents including for himself.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26138 of 2017 dt.01-07-2017 2/2 a simple farmer and had only given his copy of khatihan and was not aware of what other documents were submitted and has not committed any fault or illegality knowingly.

5. Learned counsel for the C.B.I. submitted that the petitioner has been found not only to have got loan for himself but also facilitated sanction of loans to others based on forged and fabricated documents.

6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
